This project represents my personal reflection on the impact of Covid-19, nearly three years after its initial outbreak. While the world has moved on from the initial crisis, I believe that we should take a moment to reflect more deeply on this global event. Each country implemented its own policies during the pandemic, and as a Chinese international student who has lived in the US for almost eight years, I want to use this speculative design project to share my thoughts and encourage others to think beyond the virus itself. Specifically, I aim to prompt consideration of what steps we can take to prepare for similar crises in the future.
